The Community South Credit Union is a growing, $55 million, full-service financial institution. Our credit union is a special financial institution because our members, who are the only beneficiaries of our services and earnings, are also our owners. We exist to serve the members who own us, not make a profit.
We strive to encourage thrift among our members, provide sources of credit at fair and reasonable rates of interest, and provide an opportunity for our members to improve their economic and social condition through financial education and low- and no- cost products and services.

Our Volunteers and Employees:
Our board of directors and committee members are elected by a majority vote of our membership. Unlike a bank, all of our board committee members donate their time without compensation from the credit union.
