Community South is rewarding local educators who have unique NEW projects or technology beyond the normal curriculum with the 2021 Splash Grant. If your new project or technology is lacking funding we're here to help. This year, we're giving out a total of $5000 in grant funds to K-12 educators in Holmes, Jackson, Walton, and Washington Counties. Our goal is to create a long term positive ripple effect by exposing children to opportunities that otherwise might not happen in the classroom due to budget limitations.
We're focusing on the areas of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. We highly encourage out-of-the-box thinking!
Simply complete the application explaining why your classroom deserves a grant of up to $5,000. Applications will be accepted through April 30th. Our award committee will review requests in May and we'll announce the winner(s) shortly thereafter. We could end up with ten $500 grants, a couple of $2,500 winners, or only one $5,000 recipient. It all comes down to what initiatives and budgets are put forward. All entries will be ranked on impact, creativity, feasibility, and sustainability.
