Community South was founded with the promise of "people helping people." From the moment we opened our doors as FLORIDA SRD District 3 Credit Union in 1959, that guiding principle has been apparent in everything we do, from the accounts and loans we offer, to the personalized attention we provide. Unlike a bank, we are not-for-profit and are owned and operated by the members we serve. That means we're accountable to you, not outside shareholders.
We have since grown to $113 million strong and over 10,000 members and adopted our new name of Community South Credit Union to better reflect those we serve! Our service is friendly, our branches are welcoming and our member experience is truly enjoyable. It is with great pride that we give back to our community, working with local school districts, hosting community cookouts and so much more.
